Recently, I had the beautiful honor of photographing the wedding of Liz and Brandon Griffin in Branson, MO at The Homestead at Rosewood . This sweet couple actually live in Texas but chose to make the beauty of the Ozarks the backdrop for this once in a lifetime moment. Knowing how much more work goes into a destination wedding, I really wanted to make sure to capture all the small details that they had incorporated into their day - from Liz's blue shoe laces (loved that!), to the deep gorgeous purples in the bouquets, to the simple, stunning details in her gown - I didn't want to miss a moment of their day. And oh, the moments...that's what I love to capture...that moment that the Bride and Groom see each other for the first time, the quiet conversations and moments shared between the father to the Groom, the laughter shared amongst the Bride and her bridesmaids... The MOMENTS are what I hope to give back to the couple, all done through the focused lens of my camera.
After the wedding, we headed down the famous 76 Boulevard to a small dinner party at Black Oak Grill on Branson Landing where we could then wander outside and take advantage of the stunning weather that nature provided. It really was such a perfect day, a day that I hope Liz and Brandon will treasure and reminisce upon for many, many years to come. - XO, Candy
