Boudoir Session FAQ: Everything You’ve Been Curious About

Boudoir sessions bring up a lot of questions, and that’s totally normal. Whether you’re doing this for yourself or as a gift, I want you to feel informed, comfortable, and excited. Here are the questions I hear most often:

Do I have to be naked?

No way! Wear as much or as little as you want. Boudoir is about confidence, not clothing. Some people wear lingerie, some throw on a cozy sweater, some bring a button-up shirt, or even just sheets. It’s all about feeling hot, confident, and yourself.

Can I do nude photos?

Yes, but only in a way that feels artistic and flattering. I shoot nudity for women with clever angles, poses, and lighting that hint at nudity without showing everything. It’s all about curves, confidence, and connection. Full frontal nudity or sexual acts are not part of my style.

Do you do couples boudoir?

Absolutely! Couples sessions are such a fun way to capture intimacy and chemistry. These sessions focus on closeness, connection, and romance rather than sexual acts or explicit poses.

I’m not a model. Will you guide me?

Yes! I will tell you exactly where to put your hands, how to move, and how to relax so you look natural and feel confident. You don’t need to know a single pose, I’ve got you covered.

What should I bring?

Anything that makes you feel amazing. Lingerie, robes, button-up shirts, heels, or something meaningful to you. I’ll also send a prep guide with ideas to make planning easier. Even a simple tank top or cozy blanket can create gorgeous photos.

Do you have a client closet?

No, and that’s intentional. I want you to wear what fits you and makes you feel confident. Plus, shopping for your own pieces can be part of the fun and really empowering.

Will my photos be shared online?

Only if you sign a model release. Some people choose to keep their images private, which is totally fine. Your comfort comes first.

Do you Photoshop?

I do light retouching like fixing things out of place and adjusting lighting, but I don’t change body shapes. When requested I can do heavier retouching like skin smoothing or body shapes. The goal is to capture the real, confident, beautiful you and images that make you feel good.

How do I book a session?

Just reach out through my booking inquiry form on my boudoir page here. We’ll chat about your vision, pick a date, and plan all the details. A retainer is required to secure your spot.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes! Everyone deserves to experience the confidence boost a boudoir session brings. Just ask when you reach out, and we’ll find a plan that works.

What if I’m nervous?

Totally normal. Everyone feels a little jittery at first. But once we start shooting, you’ll be laughing, relaxed, and feeling amazing. My job is to make you feel comfortable, confident, and a little bit daring.

Do I have to be confident or "in shape" to do boudoir?

Absolutely not! Boudoir is for everybody and every body. Confidence comes from being yourself, not from your size or fitness level. My job is to make you feel sexy, powerful, and beautiful exactly as you are. Most people leave the session shocked at how amazing they feel and how at ease they ended up being with me.
